It starts next week so I possibly might be scarce on here when that happens.
Anyway! To all those who have attended, what were your best and worst college experiences?

I just discovered that I can post thumbnails without a premium membership so I'm going to do a small feature on here as well. :)

When i was young there was nothing i wanted to study, i wasn't the academic type. There was also very little choice....Things are different now, there's more choice, and more opportunities, which is good.
A few years ago i tried to get into the local university to do Fine Art Photography. We have a bizarre system that meant they had to interview me, but had already filled all the places. My mate was there and they told him they really wanted me, so i applied again the following year, this time really early, but the crazy system wouldn't allow me an interview. My mate spoke to the lecturers and they were pissed off that it works that way, but there was nothing they could do :-(

Anyway, i might not have been myself, but i've worked in colleges, and had plenty of friends go. Best advice is to have a great time, enjoy all there is on offer, but remember to do the work. I know a lot over here tend to party like crazy in the first year, realise they need to work hard in the second if they want to do ok, then panic a bit in the third and work like crazy to try and make up for all the earlier partying ;-)
It should be a great time for learning, having fun, and self development.
So have fun, and show us all how brilliant you are as well :D
